Tessa Williams

MSc Student

Tessa is a MSc Candidate with the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. She completed a Bachelors of Community Design with honours in Environmental Planning at Dalhousie University. Her experience working for municipalities in Nova Scotia and Ontario enabled her to become a Registered Professional Planner (RPP). Her graduate research uses spatial analysis techniques to examine how bicycle infrastructure affects population health outcomes in mid-sized cities. Hailing from Halifax, she understands the unique potential of mid-sized cities and welcomes opportunities to learn from local partners and collaborate with practitioners.

Apart from her studies, Tessa enjoys reading on the beach, cooking over a campfire and exploring her new home city of Vancouver by bike.
