PhD Candidate

A current PhD candidate, Meridith holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Waterloo and a Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. In partnership with cities and citizens, her research explores the impact of urban change on social connectedness, health and wellbeing. Meridith is also a knowledge translation strategist and science communicator with over a decade of experience helping research and policy organizations maximize the reach and impact of their work.

She spends most weekends playing in the mountains with her kids, and plotting her next coffee and surf trip.

Research interests:  Healthy cities, health equity, social connectedness, citizen science, knowledge mobilization
